You Are Positioned for Divine Elevation!

“I am positioned for Divine Elevation! I will be divinely elevated — AMEN!”

As we step boldly into our Month of Elevation, the Spirit of God is declaring a powerful truth over His people: Divine elevation is not accidental, and it is not man-made. You are positioned—strategically and intentionally—for an elevation that can only come from God.

Our anchor text is Acts 9:1–16, the dramatic transformation of Saul into Paul. This encounter reveals God’s process for elevating a life for kingdom impact.

What Does It Mean to Be Elevated?

To Elevate means:

  • To lift up or make higher

  • To raise in rank, influence, or status

Divine Elevation, however, is far greater.

It is an elevation that only comes from God—not from connections, applause, or human validation.

A Biblical Understanding of Divine Elevation

Divine elevation is rising into purpose, favor, and fulfillment, rooted in the heart and will of God. It flows from humility and reverence, not pride or self-promotion.

“The reward for humility and fear of the Lord is riches and honor and life.”
Proverbs 22:4

🚨 Key Truth:

God cannot elevate a person who does not fear Him.

God’s Elevation Is Eternal

When men elevate men, it is temporary.

When God elevates a person, it is everlasting—often extending through generations.

Think of David and Solomon. Their elevation was not merely personal; it was generational.

“For exaltation comes neither from the east nor from the west nor from the south. But God is the Judge: He puts down one, and exalts another.”
Psalm 75:6–7

Exaltation is synonymous with Elevation—to be raised in rank, power, and character.

👉 Important:

God will never elevate bad character. When God calls you, He works on you first.

Acts 9: God’s Pattern for Divine Elevation

Before Paul preached powerfully, wrote Scripture, and shook nations, he was humbled.

Jesus said to Ananias:

“Go, for Saul is my chosen instrument… And I will show him how much he must suffer for my name’s sake.”Acts 9:15–16

God chose someone who once opposed the Gospel because He knew Paul’s passion, once surrendered, would take the Gospel further than many who walked with Jesus physically.

But before elevation came humiliation.

Steps to Divine Elevation

1️⃣ Humility

Before God elevates, He enrolls His Children in the school of humility—by fire, by force.

“Pride goes before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.”
Proverbs 16:18

A proud and haughty spirit leads to a fall. God resists pride, but He gives grace to the humble.

🙏 Prayer:

Lord, give us a humble spirit that keeps our relationship with You strong and our hearts heaven-ready.

2️⃣ Heart Posture

God performs spiritual surgery on the heart of a man before elevation.

stony heart must become a fleshy, responsive heart (Ezekiel 36).

A heart that God can elevate must first become broken and contrite.

“The sacrifice you desire is a broken spirit. You will not reject a broken and repentant heart, O God.”
Psalm 51:17 (NLT)

God does not break hearts the way people do—He breaks them to heal, restore, and align them with His will.

3️⃣ Development of Godly Character

Before elevation comes character development through trials.

“Count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.”
James 1:2–3

God takes those He intends to elevate through another school:

🎓 The School of the Fruit of the Holy Spirit

“But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit… love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.”
Galatians 5:22–25

🚫 Pride must leave

❤️ The heart must change

🔥 Character must be refined

Only then comes Divine Elevation.

Final Declaration

Say it boldly:

  • Pride has to leave

  • My heart is changing

  • My character is being refined

  • I am positioned for Divine Elevation!
